This app is just incredible and a HUGE support for my ADHD! The customer service team is super friendly - honestly, one of the best I’ve ever interacted with. They’re always there to assist and, most importantly, they do it effectively. Plus, there’s a discount for new users, which makes it a bit easier on the wallet (just wish they had a student rate!). The app works on all platforms, and on MacBook, you can even access it straight from the toolbar without needing to visit the website and upload the entire file, making it super convenient. If I could, I’d give it 10 out of 5 stars!

The app ain't quite flawless yet, but you can see the crew is putting in the effort to improve it. Every time I've run into a problem, they've been right there, doing everything they can to meet my needs. Overall, it’s been a solid experience. I do feel like the cost is a bit steep, though. I first discovered it during my time at university, where, as an English Major, I was swamped with more reading material than I could handle in the limited time I had! My entire day revolved around it. Thanks to Speechify, I could upload images of the printed pages, slashing my reading time not just in half, but into tiny bits. I relied on Speechify to quickly go through research papers that could be useful for my essays, and then to review those essays. Even after graduation, I kept using Speechify. Being around creative folks, I enjoy listening to their narratives and the ones they suggest. It’s like having my own personalized Audible 😂. This is particularly beneficial since I struggle with weak eye muscles, often dealing with eyestrain and migraines, so I can enjoy something I love while taking a break. Now that I’m working as an Editor, I utilize Speechify to go over pages after making my edits to identify any flow issues. In short, Speechify is a part of every facet of my life, and I’m really thankful I came across it.

I just wanted to try out the app for a bit, so I signed up for the three-day trial. I thought I had cancelled in time to avoid being charged for the whole year. But then I woke up to find a full-year subscription fee that I really can't swing right now. I reached out to the support team immediately. I guess I should've paid more attention to the fine print, but they could've made it tough if they wanted to. Instead, after just a couple of emails and not even a few hours, I had my full refund on the way—no stress or complications.

Really diggin' the range of voices available!

I went for the free trial, thinking I'd be billed monthly, but ended up getting charged for the whole year. So, I shot them an email to cancel my membership since I only need it for a few months while I wrap up my degree. They got back to me super fast and sorted it all out. I got my yearly fee refunded right away and switched to a monthly plan. I'm really thankful for their quick response and understanding.

The voice choices sound way more real compared to other applications I've tried, and the support team is quick and dependable. I’d really appreciate having more detailed settings for tweaking the pronunciation of certain words, so the text-to-speech can be adjusted if needed. Overall, I think the app meets my requirements just fine, but a few minor enhancements would truly elevate it. 👍
